Yanis Benkechida started in graphic design, in Saint-Étienne: posters, logos, brand guidelines to lay out. The web came next, during his work-study programme, with the first websites to build. The two crafts have gone together ever since.
Several years followed with a focus on images and video: visual identities, social media content, editing. Enough to learn what a visual has to achieve, not just what it should look like.
Widesign was born from this dual training. The agency has delivered more than a hundred projects and designs websites in custom code, with no prefabricated theme; WordPress is only used as a content manager, when the client wants to keep control of their website.
